This image is a paradox because Pinocchio's nose grows if he lies. If he is lying and his nose grows, the statement would be true so he would not be lying. If he is telling the truth, that his nose will grow, than his nose won't grow because he has to lie to make is nose grow. If his nose then doesn't grow then he would be lying.
